About Anatomy Fashion Show
Founded in 2018, Anatomy Fashion Show (AFS) is an annual philanthropy event hosted by the University of South Carolina's Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity. Combining medicine, creativity, and community service, AFS brings students and community members together for a unique runway experience that celebrates the complexity of the human body while raising funds for pediatric healthcare.
At the heart of AFS is anatomical body painting. Student models are transformed into living representations of human anatomy, with intricate designs illustrating structures such as muscles, bones, organs, and body systems. These models take the runway to showcase the intersection of art and medicine, bringing concepts typically studied in classrooms and textbooks to life.
Beyond the runway, AFS reflects Phi Delta Epsilon's commitment to service and the future of medicine. As aspiring healthcare professionals, our members recognize that medicine extends far beyond understanding the human body: it is also about compassion, advocacy, and caring for patients and their families. Through ticket sales, sponsorships, auctions, and other fundraising efforts, AFS supports the Pediatric and Neonatal Dedicated Ambulance (PANDA) Team at Prisma Health Children's Hospital–Midlands through Children's Miracle Network, helping support pediatric patients and families in our community.

Our History and Impact
Since its founding in 2018, Anatomy Fashion Show has grown into a cherished Phi Delta Epsilon tradition, bringing together students, local businesses, and supporters of pediatric healthcare. What began as a creative way to combine anatomical education with philanthropy has continued to evolve into an event featuring student models, artistic body painting, community sponsorships, and fundraising opportunities.
Through previous Anatomy Fashion Shows, Phi Delta Epsilon has raised a combined $17,535.64 in support of its philanthropic mission. Each year, we strive to build upon that legacy, expanding community involvement and making an even greater impact on the children and families we serve.

Proceeds from Anatomy Fashion Show benefit the Pediatric and Neonatal Dedicated Ambulance (PANDA) Team at Prisma Health Children's Hospital–Midlands through Children's Miracle Network.
By supporting this cause, AFS allows Phi Delta Epsilon members, local businesses, and the greater Columbia community to come together in support of pediatric patients and their families. Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, and sponsorship received contributes to our shared mission of making a meaningful difference in children's healthcare.
